I've posted the full story elsewhere, but basically after obtaining a chastity cage in November I leaned very heavily into sissy hypno one last time to see if it has any profound effect when abstaining. I've gone through cycles of the fetish without ever acquiring anything physical. Suffice to say chastity made a big difference, and I ended up with 4 bags full of female clothing and underwear as well as a silicone breast piece. After a few... interesting months... I finally had a moment of clarity and purged all of it.
I know most people here recommend not purging, and the reasons given make sense, but just like Hazel I feel like there's something unnatural tugging at my brain this time and I need to remove temptation completely.
I've never purged any of the bondage gear or other sex toys unless they are old/broken, and didn't feel the need to this time either. The purging is specifically to help me take a mental break from sissy hypno and process where I'm at and how I feel without it. This last stint has felt more akin to a substance addiction than a fetish, and I'm not sure simply storing things away will give me the closure I need even if it does turn out just to be a cycle.
