I personally wouldn't give up unless you have a reason to myself, only reason I quit was figuring out that my brain is messed up six ways to Sunday on the artistic side of things to the point of near non existence among a few other issues which cause hypno to fail.

21 years I have been trying. I try then give up, come back to it and try again. Just can't get any results. Maybe because I lack any imagination? I read that hypnosis uses your imagination to override your logical mind. No imagination, no hypnosis. I tried some custom-made hypno files and still nothing. I want to experience it because it honestly sounds fun.

I do remember when I was young, I found a hypno file on kazzaa (showing my age here) from some mistress. Don't recall the name. But I remember falling asleep shortly after it started playing and halfway through I woke up hearing "no one can hypnotise you but me" but I honestly doubt that had any real effect. I mean all this time? Doubtful.

Dang. You have spent more time trying hypno then I have existed lmao.

I'm curious... What do you think about this: https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread...8#pid51328

Yeah, no I can't visualize any of that. I see nothing in my mind, just darkness.

And when you read books, can you imagine the described events, characters, objects? Or, like hypnotists say, do you see them with your "inner eye"?

Funny enough, I generally don't read books unless it's about learning something. Fictional stories generally bore me because I can't visualize anything. I prefer movies, so I can see it...

Oddly, I do have extremely vivid dreams. Like my dreams legit feel more real than life itself. Kinda makes me wonder if this is the dream and my dreams are real life.

Aphantasia is the phenomenon you are looking for.

Can you visualise while dreaming?

The thing is... Imagination is needed for only some types of hypnosis. Impromptu, subliminal, multitrack hypnosis, NLP do not require imagination at all. Even trance state is not always needed.

For my dreams. It's like watching a movie in first person. I have no control like some people do. Except I can feel emotions and pain and pleasure. So could I visualize while dreaming? I don't know. Kind of a weird premise, to close your eyes in a dream and try to visualize something. Usually I would say the dream is interesting enough that I've never had to do such a thing.

What types of hypnosis doesn't need visualization? Clearly that's what I need. But I've never heard of that stuff before. From my understanding, you have to be able to visualize to be hypnotised.

I suppose it depends on what you seek. I prefer erotic hypnosis/conditioning. I searched until I found a woman who could embody the role. I wrote the initial scripts but now she adlibs while I send suggestions. The key for me was to have her do the videos, add an audio undertone, and have her alternate quiet commands/mantras/triggers with whispered encouragement to sink deeper into her control. I always have the audio tone and videos on repeat, so the messages are repeated even when I zone out. It's a wonderful experience. I've tried other women, but none really took entirely to the role nor do I fully go under. I do find it more difficult to get aroused without her command, tho I guess that should be expected after countless hours of conditioning my arousal to be triggered by her voice. She even started adding lines regarding eating better, cutting out sweets, exercising, etc into her routine. All tied to achieving sexual gratification only if I obey her. Completely eliminated sugar, and now I need to work on caffeine. haha

I've always been curious and tried a bit of self-directed erotic hypnosis/conditioning with limited results. Since finding her it's been much more effective.

That's mostly for Ericksonian hypnosis.

E.g. with multitrack subliminals, for example:

I've listened to Samantha files, no changes. I've listened to Kei files and same thing. Fml
