I can imagine you are annoyed. I would be too. But I just saw some TV programs about people not getting anything. Neither the merchandise, nor their money back. And even though they know who is responsible, the court system cannot do very much for reasons that escape me. I think that aliexpress is at least taking care that the companies that advertise on their site and use their payment system stay more or less honest, although there may be exceptions.

Ali introduced age verification today, at least for my country. Now I can't access anything interesting anymore. Verification seems to be done by some Israeli firm (.il domain) and asked for a selfie. I didn't do it.

eBay requested my passport 5 years ago for no reason. I sent them a copy with my photo blurred, so only my age and name are visible. They did not accept
it. So, I ask my wife to buy me stuff from eBay 😅

Could you explain what that does? Is it a css rewrite? I use nuMatrix for ad blocking and I already have Magic CSS for css rewrite.

Remove the class name from the blocks with this class, while leaving the blocks visible:

Well, with that custom filter you can view the "adult rated" items, but you no longer can add them to your cart.
All you get a pop-up that the item has been "discontinued".

It will be moved to the "expired items" list at the bottom of your cart with the additional info
"This item is unavailable due to age verification restrictions".

The "Buy now" button appears to be working and takes you to the checkout page, but I haven't tried to advance past that yet, since ordering a single item on AliExpress seems even more wasteful. I have no idea if they would still aggregate multiple orders into one shipping if you do it this way instead of using the shopping cart.

But it's even more likely they simply block the order at some point during the checkout process. If not right now, than in the near future for sure.
