In some medical situations, it is necessary to be able to turn patients who are recovering from -whatever- but may not be able to turn themselves from weakness, pain or something else. That bed allows someone to be turned and worked on so that they have a better recovery or their circulation is aided somehow. It's not a bondage device, it's a medical trade show so go ahead and watch with the volume up.

I would not do selfbondage like that. Imagine a bad fall, you would end up hanging. At least you should have a sort of auto-detach feature in case of too much tension. TBH I did it once attached on a shelf (I was young...) and once in it, I feared not to drop the shelf on me...
