Some time ago I got a pumping machine for breast enlargement. That is a whole story by itself as it broke rather quickly and I had to rebuild the complete electronics with a raspberry pi. They mention that one should apply warm towels after using it. In the first paper they advocate temperature as well.
My pumping machine had not much effect. Measurements each day showed fluctuations. If you measure at the wrong moment, you think: "it works!" but the next day you are back where you started. On the other hand: it is a rather relaxing massage.
