Interestingly, M has stopped listening to the files after being annoyed one too many times by suggestions she doesn't like. Instead, starting yesterday, she's been recreating and remixing audio in our head to create new virtual files (using the same sound effects and the same voice, just saying different things) and has begun hypnotically "programming" herself her way. I can faintly hear it coming from her partition (kind of like a private house/world). I have no idea where this is going yet.

Worked a good bit of Saturday, then took a nap. Sunday afternoon I checked my socials and apparently Bambi was on messaging guys. I don’t remember any of these conversations or the pictures.

Anyone else experienced any of this?

That's interesting... When you think it can't get any weirder... Are you sure she's not hypnotising you, rather than herself?

I can't be 100% certain, of course, but I've heard her playing music in her partition before and it sounds very muffled just like her hypnosis stuff, as if I'm hearing it through a thick wall. In any case, quite some time ago I empowered our core protectors (whom I think are representations of our subconscious mind/minds) to yank the plug on any of us, including me, and turn our sleeping selves over to the Keepers for memory isolation and healing in case any of us became too corrupted by outside influences. Their power to override any of us is a key part of DID, which is how even I end up getting switched out if another of us are triggered out. It's a fail-safe I set up for other reasons, just in case.

By current psychology and neuroscience standards, there's no such thing as acute DID. DID is a protective response against long-term sustained trauma. And though there are milder disorders such as dissociative subtype PTSD with dissociative amnesia that could in theory be triggered by a single traumatic event or severe stress, there's no trauma or stress involved here. While I could be wrong, at most it sounds like typical hypnotic amnesia. It could also just be role-playing, too.

I periodically browse through Bambi's Reddit, and if previously I thought, that %80 are role-playing, now I think it's 95% 😆

I agree, I think. It seems most people there (I've been skimming the posts) really want to play the role, and like method actors can even convince themselves that they are that role. Hypnotic suggestions would only increase the ability to convince yourself of something you aeady want to believe. I've heard method actors can get so deep into a role that they can actually struggle to find their own personality again, so with hypnotic suggestions on top of that, I could see how people get "trapped" into that role and have to struggle back out of it. I suppose it's a sort of semantics argument about where the line is between role-playing and an actual personality shift here. Most people consider method acting to be role-playing even though actors have experienced deep personality shifts that they have to undo, so...where's the line?

@bambisleep So this a long shot you of answering this, but I was wondering if I could ask you, are you planning on releasing anymore files after the Salon files? It's been a while since you have released anything since princess loops, which are amazing! I mean the Salon files still aren't finished, and honestly I am just asking because I am also curious how long it usually takes you to create these files.. Months, Years?  I mean, they are so intricate, and I know there has to be layers upon layers of things for you to make the Salon files how they are. You don't have to answer this if you don't want to, but I think it would be nice to get some type of news on what your plans are going forward, if the Salon files are the last batch or if you're planning on making more.

I just thought I would ask you here since you are kind of active here. But I have to say what you have done with these files are simply amazing, just from a sound production standpoint alone, there are maybe lots of fanfiles and copycats but the way you create these are unmatched. It why I hope you don't stop making them because they really some of the best hypno files I have ever heard, and I have listened to a lot of other hypnosis files lol.
