It's not lycra, those are obviously cotton swimsuits worn as leotards but its aerobic themed.

I 100% concur! I've never understood these aerobic themed music videos... it's literally not that hard to Google aerobic videos to see that leotards should be colorful shiny spandex with spandex tights/unitards and/or pantyhose. Literally none of them get it right, same for aerobic theme photo shoots. Only Eric Prydz' Call on Me music video got it right with the instructor in a black lycra thong leotard with wet hair. Soooo sexy!

Here's a screenshot from FISAF's current sports aerobics technical regulations - they have the right idea with reg 7.3.3!
