But what is a difference between 体 and 身 (as in zentai)? Apparently, they even pronounced the same (-tai-) in combinations (ah, not always). 身化 is translated as disguise or incarnation, though. Would 女身化 make a difference? It doesn't really help that some kanji are also words, but those are more of a special case than a norm; Japanese started as a spoken language and didn't have its own alphabet since way after using the kanji as a pseudo-alphabet. Now it has two alphabets that are still in use on top of the kanji system. Like in english there's synonyms and quasi-synonyms (slight difference in nuance or tone); it's just more convoluted and less "natural" since it's a different system entirely. 身体 is a more sciency-word than 体, and used in 身体能力 for example. 女身化 doesn't exist because 女身 doesn't exist but 女体 exists as a word, and in this case 化 acts a bit like a suffix, the english equivalent would be "ation"? as it means "to be made(transformed) into", 収益化 is monetisation for example, lit. "made into revenue". RE: Japanese hypnosis - Like Ra - 18 Nov 2022 (18 Nov 2022, 06:09 )Dan Wrote: the english equivalent would be "ation"?
