yeah.... I would NOT recommend using a bar like that for suspension. ONLY fixed solid points/bars etc. These types are notorious for slipping, and if slipping while bound like that... oy yoy....

Yep that too. A lot of people don't realize suspension can be rather uncomfy, even with more relaxed positions... this one... I'd say feeling it for sure after 5 minutes lol

It does not sound like it is but 5 minutes is really long. Try hanging from a bar. I'd say most people won't make it to 3 minutes. It's one of those things with self bondage, I want to try more positions but I don't have a reliable way to get out after only 3 minutes. A lot of positions are next to impossible to hold for longer.

I know suspension well. Each person reacts differently since each person has a different body, and each rigger has different levels of quality/knowledge. Having suspended more people than I can remember, been suspended, and seen and supervised many, generally 5 minutes in that position would be average if done by a good rigger (and I am an actual qualified one). But yeah, a self bondager likely wouldn't last 3 since most do not know suspension properly, and many don't even know much about the human body and the effects that bondage can have on it let alone suspension bondage. I have actually seen someone end up with broken ribs because the "rigger" didn't know what he was doing. Didn't fall or anything - the rope was tied in the wrong place the wrong way.

At 3:40 a shot of him tying his arms starts and while it cuts before he inserts his writs, you can see that the wrist coil is not tightenable in any way.  I'd guess it's just tight enough to barely fit writs through. He then starts to spin around which causes the elbow coil to tighten. Which should then make it impossible to get wrists out. Until he spins the other way around of course. Quite clever idea.

At 9 minutes another shot starts where you can see how he inserts his writs. Again, no noose or anything, just a tight coil of rope combined with aeady bound elbows.

So yeah, dude seems genuine.

Edit: Did some extrea research. He goes by 诡丝 (guisi is transliteration of that) which means silk (altough knowing chinese it might also have 10 different meanings). His videos are available here. Half of them have english description and some of them mention that it's not all self bondate (eg. monoglove turned out to be too difficult and required a little 'help', or in video tutorial about self suspension he didnt plan an escape becasue he was watched by a camerman). So I take my word back about genuinity but the guy is still amazing.

Also the videos are very cheap (less than 2 dollars) I'm very tempted to get some of them.
