Yep, the guy had this fetish for long time, but usually there are limits. And hypnosis/NLP destroyed them and pushed the person much farther from where he felt himself "within the appropriate boundaries". Is that the ultimate liberation and ikigai? Is that degeneracy and degradation? From the society point of view it's the former. From the happiness point of view - I'm not so sure... Is it pure indulgence? Or is it the achieved goal he has been diligently working for over many years?

I honestly think that its the subject for an intense and thorough study. The effects on willing and potentially less than willing subjects in both long and short term. Measuring aspects such as happiness, addictiveness, mental state, cognitive decline and more but its fuzzy for me at the moment.
