The beauty of bittorrents is distributed storage and parallel downloading. If the site is down, the content will be accessible from those, who aeady downloaded the files.

- Torrent should not contain thumbnails. Only full-size images.
- Use forum topics as folders and substitute invalid characters like ":" and name the files with "YYYY-MM-DD filename.ext" where filename is the original name of the uploaded file (not that forum-generated unique string), so that the files will appear in the correct order in each topic..
- You can use your own tracker or maybe some site member aeady has a working tracker?
- Update the torrent once a month? Name it with a date that is easy to sort: archive_2017-11-30.zip

When I have time, I need to create a program, that will go through the backup and rename & copy the files to a new structure. Then create a torrent file. Then upload it somewhere.
