had a bit of a tense moment today..
There I was in a video meeting with colleagues and customer
Dog is going apeshit at the door because a courier has turned up with a delivery
I'm sat there in high shine metallic tights with a swimsuit over them, and a business shirt on top for video safety.
So quick decision and thankful prior preparation...
Make apologies to leave the meeting for 1 minute, garb jeans that are nearby and run to the door doing the "you're getting caught" dressing hop
Answer door grab parcel and retreat...
later when looking at tracking info photo that has been taken you can see my shiny metallic feet... thankfully they are gun metal gray colour!!

I stumbled across this thread and post again, which made me smile and think of almost identical experiences  😁

Throughout lockdown(s) and now as a more normal approach, my company used video conferencing for meetings. Whenever I could I'd slip into something much more 'interesting' to wear, but cover-up my on-camera image with something more manly and business-like.

Of course, me being me,  I'd add a few more fun things like a cage, plug, heels and, quite frequently, a little bit of bondage. 

       

Just like @ltxrob there would be the occasional delivery that I had to deal with and when this coincided with a meeting the fun and games would begin! (And I too have dogs who go utterly bonkers when the door is knocked)

First step is to make excuses to the meeting and switch video off! Very important that last bit, I came within a whisker of exposing a shiny leotard and tights once!

Next step is remember to untie ankles (an easy mistake in the rush to get from office to door) and remove heels (I can't run in them and going downstairs is a no-no)

Now on with the emergency trousers - I actually thought this one through beforehand and have a pair of 'joggers' ready, so that they can be quickly pulled on to cover up tights, stockings, cuffs, etc. They also are nicely baggy at the crotch, so there shouldn't (I hope!) be any tell-tale bulge of a chastity cage.

Again, just as @ltxrob experienced, I've been so focused on opening the door, that I've flashed my nylon covered feet at the delivery person (once in an obvious tan colour    ) though I do try to hide behind the door if the driver is taking photos to prove delivery (is this just a UK thing?) so I hope any indiscretions were not captured for posterity! I now try to keep some trainers with the joggers, so my quick change activity (almost) covers everything. 

My very worst experience was a delivery that came when I wasn't on any calls. I had gone the 'whole-hog' with my fetish attire, including silicone breasts and a tight dress. Utter panic ensued and my only solution was to grab a bathrobe and hide behind the barley open front door, muttering excuses about being 'caught in the shower' to the disturbingly attractive Royal Mail post lady!!!

Yes, I could have simply ignored the insane barking of the dogs and persistent knocking of the door, but I really wanted what was being delivered (that's another story).  I'm almost certain that she probably didn't spot anything - but 100% certain she's got me down as being a bit odd!  😁

Same here, but my company provided Windows laptop (with company VPN and stuff) is closed, put away, and I have a remote access to it from my Linux desktop 😊

yep same here... Colleagues just do random video calls, when you don't answer with video it's always... "camera not working?? " 
and that's then a "sorry, not sure why that didn't come on?" and then it's on!

I have the privilege of running Linux on my employer provided laptop so I'm not going to claim things don't work or they'll tell me to install Windows.

comparable situation in my case. Company Laptop with camera, but since this only serves for hosting a citrix client for a cloud windows session, this works just as good on my private machine (how else could I comfortably run the entertainment I need in parallel...). In principle, video was optional, but top management demands to enforce it became pushier and pushier. Nonetheless, no one in my team had particular interest to turn the camera on when we we're having exclusively internal meetings.
However, apparently the penny pinchers got the upper hand when they found out that supporting stable video costs too much and the enforced video calls policy apparently died during my parental leave mid last year. No one really told me why it was abolished, it was just that cameras stayed off when I got back.
I'm glad it turned out the way it did. Not that much with respect to my fetish gear, which nowadays is just pantyhose + lycra tights, which is no problem with the camera angle, but because I could aeady see them enforcing ideas like demanding proper office attire also in home office (and a neat shirt is an annoyance aeady) - one could read opinion pieces on only having the right state of mind for productive working from home when reenacting as much as possible from the office experience, lol.

Yet another proof, that business units are getting out of control, like bureaucracy in general. The main upper management job is to do everything to be noticeable, and look like they are still needed by demanding useless, but mandatory, activities 🤣

Yeah, I know, my problem is I can't point with my fingers at other people's lack of purpose, since I am in a similar role in administration with a very "bullshitty" job, but at least what I annoy other people with is mainly driven by auditors and regulators. But what can I do to do something I'm proud of, hardly anything that would allow for shopping for Wolford, etc... in that quantity, and so far, since I'm in a very intermediate/specialised niche, I'd have to take about a year off to acquire formal certificates allowing me to transform my self-taught skills into something that is actually respected on the labor market in sectors I'd prefer.
