And I'm talking about yourself looking from the inside 😉
See the difference?
We had a long and hot discussion on that in this thread earlier. My point (and the point of my wife) is - we are essentially genderless inside. When you close your eyes, there is nothing manly or womanly in those feelings. Rather humanly 😉
i think i agree with this assertion yes!
environment begets expression - how people treat you affects the way you present yourself, even if only subconsciously
it's good to be liked

omg no worries about the delay 😊 i made you wait a week
i hope your journey goes smoothly! it's the hardest thing i've ever done (and i've had some horrible other experiences) but it has made me learn a lot about life and about myself
i would caution against tying transition to fetishism if you can avoid it at all! it has the potential to render the kink unenjoyable and inextricably linked to feelings of frustration and struggle (as it did for me)
Thank you! No major breakthroughs, holidays came and went. Got a feeling the files may press the issue. Living on the edge also playing whilst between jobs and likely interviewing. Did you say something about 'boundaries' with your advice at the end? Yeah - I don't do well with those. 😉
Especially since I use the one to push the other - following your advice, although wise, is unlikely I fear.  Life to date's been false stability / true chaos. Thankfully beyond family I have limited IRL friends, those few I do have are in the know, so if pre is chaos, and post is likely frustration and struggle - but maybe less chaos?Â
This, though: Is the nugget I seek: " but it has made me learn a lot about life and about myself". Â
"To thine own self be true" - Each day I turn a page, continuing to look for it.
Quote:Transgender individuals
• The results regarding transgender individuals are indicative due to, among other factors, the relatively limited number of respondents to the online questionnaire (n = 51; see the introduction for further explanation).
• Approximately one in five (20%) transgender individuals reports having insufficient funds.
• Nearly half (47%) of transgender individuals report being frequently or constantly conscious of their behavior in public spaces, compared to one in eight (13%) cisgender heterosexual individuals.
• Almost a quarter of transgender individuals (24%) report having experienced depression in the past 12 months, compared to one in thirteen (8%) cisgender heterosexual individuals. Furthermore, burnout is most prevalent among transgender individuals (26%) compared to all other LGBTIQA+ groups.
• Suicidal thoughts are most common among transgender individuals; over two-thirds (69%) have contemplated suicide at some point, compared to a quarter (24%) of cisgender heterosexual individuals.
• Experiences with online hate speech are highest among transgender individuals (12%), compared to 5% of cisgender heterosexual individuals.
• More than four in ten (43%) transgender individuals and non-binary individuals (42%) report having experienced discrimination in the past 12 months, compared to approximately one in eight (12%) cisgender heterosexual individuals.
Another interesting point, since 2016 there are more FtM registered gender changes than MtF (page 27).

(27 May 2019, 16:16 )Like Ra Wrote: The actual reasons behind the previous post are even not the political correctness or "thought police", but the waves of "hypes" and "backlashes". I've started looking into the subject more thoroughly only two years ago, but what I immediately noticed is the wave of actively "promoting" TS/TG ideas (e.g. "positive" articles, positive transition lines, feminization hypnosis, etc), and the following wave of backlash (e.g. "negative" posts, "trans-" stuff is getting banned, if you search "feminization" on youtube you will get fitness advice videos by huge muscular guys. I take it the LGBT++** is taking a "legal approach" now (I would call it "an attack of SJWs"), what, in my opinion, creates more "backlash hate speech", than "forced tolerance".
20 years ago I had almost no doubts in going out in mini shorts and shiny pantyhose, or roller-skating in a latex suit, but now I would think thrice about it, and most likely won't do it. Am I showing age or do I miss something?
(13 Feb 2023, 21:57 )Like Ra Wrote: I think we discussed it. Looks like a backlash after a huge hype.
(18 Feb 2023, 22:16 )Like Ra Wrote: The question is - those who created this "leaflet"... What were their goals? If their goal is to harm the TG/TS community and create a backlash, then their goals can be easily achieved.
If you check the comments beneath the news article, that's the summary:
- People are fed up with woke/DEI/"positive discrimination" agenda being shoved up their asses (and in NL it's quite mild, unlike US/UK)
- People are fed up with LGBTQYZ++==-- prides/parades. If you are normal and equal, why the heck are you trying to demonstrate and prove that you are not? And NL was the first country in the world to allow gay marriage!
- Whatever you (think) you are, keep it to yourself, do not publicly demonstrate "it", especially if the public does not want to see or know what's in your pants, or what (and how) arouses you the most.
- People with a migration background.
And, apparently, the governments (and the so-called "activists") still do not understand the reasons behind the "acceptance/tolerance drop", what makes it even worse...

... someone realized that it's a men's world, it's easier and more profitable to look and behave like a man... There was a documentary on the Dutch TV about one woman (~59-60yo?), who, after years of travelling, decided to transition just because it's safer, and it's possible to pedal bikes bare-chested. No "gender dysphoria" at all, pure practicality.

Recently, we started noticing more crossdressers and/or TGs. And mostly "cringy" freaks clearly looking for attention.
OTOH...
I was "misgendered" again 😅 When I was going to the men's toilet, the guy who was working there tried to route me to the ladies room, and apologised when I turned my face to him. I was wearing wide, long women's trousers (which might resemble skirt-pants, but without widening at the bottom), women's sporty sandals (not sure if they were visible under the pants), a usual sport jacket and a backpack. He might also see my hair in sort of a bun (nothing female), but I don't think he saw my painted finger- and toenails.
Anyway, it happens more often, and it makes me feel simultaneously happy, joyful, embarrassed, slightly humiliated. Weird...
It happens when people do not see my face. No, I do not have any facial hair, but it's still too masculine... So... no chance to pass 😆 (so far? 😉)
