For him, it's both.  He definitely has a gag on underneath that computer monitor because he was talking about it on fetlife just the other day.  He's got a thing for being locked in masks with a gag underneath for hours at a time so there's usually a bondage aspect to it as well.  I seem to remember something from some months ago where he was locked in his Vera kigu mask for over 50 hours I think?  No gag that time though.
