For that you could use also a latex or silicone tube with a little hole in the front. Maybe you can put that over the chainmail to protect your clothes?

Then maybe using two condoms.
Put on the first condom, with the hole like you suggested, then the chainmail and to protect your clothing, then the second condom to protect your clothing.
That will protect your clothing and your skin.

Has anybody considered using skin glue to make cages truly inescapable for a couple (or more) days? Even the usual superglue can be relatively used for that - just put some glue between the upper part of the penis and the inside-top part of the penis tube (not to the ring). That should prevent pulling out. I think, the "false lashes" glue can be effectively used for that. The "doctor approved" glue is quite expensive - eBay: Dermabond

Can you just wash with soap and water, then rinse with hot water? Is regular lube OK or should you buy separate lube?

Years ago, I had an Access Denied Adjustable Chastity Belt.
