While browing the other catagories/"studios" (most of which are discontinued or not as intriguing to me personally), I found one bondage duo that stood out from the rest and might be of interest to some of you folks here as well.

Had a proper look at this site last night and there is quite a lot of stuff I would want from there but the hotlink download limits are very annoying. Its tempting to just pay the hotlink fee and grab the stuff that I want because realistically I'm not getting everything I want on a free plan. The fee is essentially the same as most standard subscriptions directly from studios (eg bondage junkies or QC) so I'm not instantly put off.

Hotlink premium gets you 65GB every two days which is a weird limit but whatever, its equivalent to 975GB per month.
I scraped video data for some stuff I was interested in downloading and ended up at 940GB which would mean I could get that in one month but I know there is more stuff I want from there since I haven't checked everything yet.
Their pricing is heavily weighted towards the longer plans (as expected)
1 Month- $2.46/100GB
2 Month- $1.89/100GB
3 Month- $1.64/100GB
12 Month- $0.93/100GB
I think I'll need to scope out more of what I want to download to see what plan actually works out the most viable for me before buying anything.

Since I scraped the entire site here are some numbers just for entertainment:
They have 16844 video downloads totaling 27.8TB. The largest video is 40GB and the average size is 1.69GB
Hotlink free specifies you get one file download per day so it would take 46 years to download this on a free plan without any "fun" workarounds
The fastest you could download it would be 1 month but it would cost just shy of 700 bucks to get all those 1 month subscriptions.
More economically you could instead get three 1 year plans for 330 bucks however the download would take just under a year.

The free download option, is the slow download option. I'm trying one now and it's limited to 41kB/s. Only 1 day and 3 hours to go 🤔

Yeah downloading free is quite a pain but at least the download time mostly matches up with the link generation time since you can only start one download every 24 hours.

I do actually have some ideas to speed up the downloads by 10 or even 100x for a single video from my previous experience with network shenanigans.
It could be 1 video 100x faster or it could be 100 videos at the same time.
Personally I think the 100 videos at the same time would be the more sustainable option due to the 24 hour download limit however this obviously requires you to have 100 videos you want to download. Will likely be something I want to look into this weekend to see if its even viable with my current resource constraints.

After some initial testing yesterday and earlier today I'm confident I could far outpace their paid plan using my download method (although I only really need to beat 375KB/s so its not a very high bar) 

However implementing this in a sane and stable way will essentially require me to write an entire download manager. At least its an interesting challenge to work on...

Just a small update: I was able to get it done! Multiple concurrent downloads in the same download client running on a single machine.
   

Its not perfect yet. Who knew it was annoying to juggle so many things... but it does function "reasonably" well. at "just" 5 downloads I get a consistent 210KB/s

Luckily I was able to skip quite a bit of implementation by just using aria2c which will fit my purposes unless I want multi thread downloads on the same file.

If any of you guys are interested in using it or implementation details then let me know and I'll make a thread in Various technical topics and try to get something sharable put together.
