Bondage Webbing self-bondage

I understand the idea behind the self-bondage armbinder they sell. Where you use the strap to zip and unzip it. One could also loop the strap or a rope around the zipper pull such that they could put the loop around a door handle or other fixed object and pull to zip or unzip. Does anyone have ideas on how to implement a time based release mechanism for these zipper self-bondage items?

With the Bondage Webbing armbinder in particular, you hardly need one.  The material is Darlex (read "stretchy") and it only comes up to the elbows, rather than a couple of inches above them.

Absent the length weakness, a doorknob against a shoulder strap ought to do.

Too bad.  I had some hopes for that item.

Does anyone have ideas on how to implement a time based release mechanism for these zipper self-bondage items?

Use a rope tied to the zipper. Pass the rope through a ring. Use an ice sock tied to the back of your collar or mask (if it has laces at the back) to secure the ring into position. By pulling the rope while the ring is near your neck, you can only pull the zipper up, not down. When the ice melts, the ring is released and you can pull the rope down.
