that husky rattle is a super-stereotypical bimbo affectation. I intentionally favored generations where it was present and I think it's the right mood.
IMO the voice being authoritative (which the new one can do and the old one cannot) is a lot more important than it being neutral/emotionless for proper effect, and so far the reports I've seen generally seem to agree, with listeners going considerably deeper to this new style. I did still put a lot of effort into making sure things were said in a soothing/relaxing way, I think
edit: of course a decade of practice with emotionless TTS voices (since that's mostly what was available in the subgenre for a long time) will predispose some to associate that style with trance, but I think that's a largely a product of the times rather than actually the ideal way to do it

Yeah, OK, this is a mater of preference. In my case, I automatically resist any "authoritative sound person" 😂 Especially, if they sound "stereotypically stupid" 🤣 Kinda mutually exclusive.
I think, the voice should be calm, sexy, seducing and intelligent - a combination, the mind has nothing to object to. And this is the effect "we need" - no internal objection.

I've read that "the new style" (also PP) works better for ADHD-ers, who become too bored with the "usual style".

So because you’re using a new voice will you be using it as well to finish the salon files or would you go back to the old voice for one more time to make those sound consistent?
I also like the new voice! It did take a minute for me to get used to it but now I love it! I also hope you can release more files faster every few months or so instead like almost half a year. Since you’re using this new style of voice and AI to help. As always thanks for making them! I really think the fan ones are great but your files just have that extra something that puts them over the other ones.
honestly dumb & authoritative have something, it's like: "Damn she's so dumb why do i have to listen to her? Ohh no, i have to listen to her! I am listening to her! Where your own thoughts are sinking deeper into the trance.

Of course, it's the emotions what makes the voice natural "in real life", but hypnosis and hypnotic voices are something different, in my opinion. Hypnotic voices should put you to sleep, not wake you up 😉
This! I loved the whisper tracks and the Bambi responses in the original. She sounded so dreamy and lost! But this new bambi sounds wide awake. She speaks so quickly and clearly, she repeats long complex sentences that are hard to follow as you fall into trance. It does seem like it wakes me up as i listen.
But I know it's all IMHO. I love how the new hypnotist voice sounds more real, though it seems more conversational than controlling sometimes. But there are so many variations out there now that I (know? fear?) we'll never want for ways to be conditioned!

Can't say which whisper tracks I prefer, but I do like the whisper voice in the new files - VERY real!

Very good definition.

Yes, still too fast for my taste (same goes to Platinum and Bellmar).

Yes, agree. Again, a good definition!

Yes! The more, the better! "And you never know unless you try".

Have you tried the Arabella voice? I've been working on some new files as well and I've found Arabella to be an interesting combination of playful and authoritative.
I've also had some good results with combining samples of different voice models (including the original Ivona Salli) to get a distinct output.

No, it probably won't happen, but I'll reuse ideas I had for the new series

This one is nice, but I'd use it for responses if anything, it feels quite compliant to me

The point of this voice is to replace the listener's thoughts, rather than be actual "responses" or speaking. I recommend paying minimal attention to it and not trying to follow it, until that happens
