You think this is how 8.5 works? Anyway, I've been listening to it for two nights in a row. It does not work on me 😂
OTOH, if I manage to get to the bed earlier, I might sleep in phones for a couple of hours 😋

To be more precise, it's my SCM who decides what will work or not. As after all those years, I see no correlation between what and how I listen and what and how actually work.

If you look at the drop that is classic leaky filters.

It is easy to understand Sample theory - it is Sample Rate/2 = maximum frequency - so at 44.1 KHz sampling frequency, the max Hz will be 20-22 KHz. Then the mp3 algorithm is used on top of that. I am also an audiophile, so there is that.

Such things happen around the maximum frequency, but we are talking 12kHz here, not 20kHz.
