Very simple, there are other methods of restraining people completely. Eg a mild sedative. Or restraints that leave some room for mobility (more commonly used) because total lack of mobility leads to cramps (and more, read further). As bondage-lovers you all know that 😊
Total immobilty for a kid (who in this part is the non-consent partner) induces fear, it lacks total control of the situation and suddenly it got worse: the kid lost total control over their own body (exept nr1 & nr2, expect those to happen...)
The stories about bondage where we lose total control is fiction. For kids in these medical institutions it is reality.
