Robin initiates the Terrific Trio’s escape by bending the fourth finger of his left hand to relieve the tension in his lower lumbar region caused by the involuntary cramping of Batgirl’s legs. Really, that’s the script. Often regarded as the worst episode of the final series (and that's up against some very strong competition) Batgirl's facial expressions as Robin wiggles his finger save the day, for me at least. How they got away with this in a children’s show well over fifty years ago I’ve no idea.
