Sleeve-Binder - Strappado - 24 Aug 2010

Not sure if there is an official name for this device, I simply call it sleeve-binder here. The idea: A tube of cloth, latex or any strong fabric covering the arms almost up to the armpits, which (the arms) are to be held in a u-shape, just like the Japanese box tie - left hand at right elbow and vice versa. The end of the tube is secured in some way around the upper arms. Unless the material is stretchy, the arms can only be used to push things around, and the hands should be completely useless. The tube is wider in the center, so hands can get through and in position. The ends are just wide enough to pull them over the upper arm.

I am about to finish such a device, except, I have no idea yet, how to secure it for self-bondage. Straps over the shoulders would be effective but need to be manipulated somehow to get in and out. A beautiful and probably effective way would be lacing around the upper arms, but not suitable for SB at all. One other way is a strap around the upper arms, preventing the wearer from pulling the arms apart and getting out of the tube. There is still the option to grab the material and pull it down off the upper arm, but probably not over the hand at the elbow, as this would require a wider opening (I think).

It won't be easy to put this tube on alone, but we shall see. I have to stitch another 20 cm and then I will try.

to be continued...

Just in case a couple of links for the reference purpose:

I tried to wear a big cotton shopping bag this way, but it was too narrow. I think it should be as wide as the shoulders. The idea was to hang the bag by the "handles" and get the hands in the bag and squeeze them even more by lowering your weight.

Hmm, this sounds familiar 😊

I checked the two links, my sleeve-binder is different. It is a single tube that goes from one upper arm to the other, actual length is about 75 cm, the forearms are next to each other inside the tube. I finished the tube and for a first try, I attached a rope to both sides. Then I put one arm in, pulled the rope over a door handle and then worked in the other arm as far as possible. It goes into the right position, hands next to the elbows, but I couldn't pull up the sleeve completely over the second arm, too much friction (it is this rubberised fabric, and I put the rubberised face inside for more pleasure).

I will experiment with D-Rings and slip-knotted rope over the second shoulder, the first one can be tied securely. This will require some more stitching, so perhaps this weekend. I am not yet fond of stitching, only the results are quite interesting and this keeps me going.

Sewing is not my favourite activity either. Though I made my first self-bondage swimsuit our of rubberised fabric when I was around 13.
