Actually, Vera didn't stand a chance, only that she didn't know that. Worse, she didn't know about the hardcore scene. Vera was in a happy liaison with her boyfriend Markus. What Vera didn't know was that Peter celebrated his birthday almost every weekend!
Markus was supposed to go fishing with friends that weekend, so it fitted perfectly! Vera had actually agreed with Markus to go on vacation at the Baltic Sea for a week, but now Vera is blown away by Peter and Markus has told her that he won't be back until the end of the week. "Oh, what's the point!" Vera thinks, "Maybe there will still be fun and sex! “ and laughed to herself.
Vera didn't know that Markus and Peter knew each other from before and that the two had hatched "something" for Vera! Fishing!? Ha, Markus laughed when he said that to Vera!
If only Vera knew what was waiting for her!
I bought an electronic time lock padlock, but aside from the general air of unreliability that makes me reluctant to trust it - I'd rather have something that fails open if the battery dies - once the time runs out you have to press the release button, which I was kind of hoping would be impossible with hands sufficiently well bound and locked behind me. The whole point is to take away my dexterity, right?
I'm going to try putting an ice cube in a sock and tying it to the cuff d-rings, but thinking it may be escapable with simple brute force. (And if the sock is next to skin, it's going to melt faster than it did my trials hanging it from the top of the door, but for a first session that might be a good thing)
The MagBound looks very cool but not within my budget. The selfbondage-shop ice lock I could probably (pun unintended) stretch to.
Has anyone tried getting a 3dprint service to run off one of the thingiverse ice locks?

Does anyone know if there's tape that will stick to both latex and a hardwood floor that won't tear latex and could easily be removed from the latex without damaging it? I'm going to guess that something like duct tape probably wouldn't be great for latex? Nor do I have any idea how well various tapes even stick to latex or not.
Why am I asking this?
So, I've done 3 different variations of cheap, homemade vacbeds that I've used in self bondage. I'd really like to try something using actual latex though. And I'd actually like to try something along the lines of my first one ( https://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread...wood-floor ) - but with a latex sheet taped to the floor rather than a plastic garbage bag.
You might ask, why not just build a frame out of PVC pipes if you're going to go to the trouble of getting actual latex sheets? 2 answers to that -
First is to save on money needed to buy PVC pipes and also the tools I'd have to get to cut the pipes to proper length and drill holes in them.
Second is that a simple PVC pipe frame is not the most rigid and also very lightweight, which means I can squirm around and move the frame around a bit as I struggle. I really enjoyed the sensation of being pressed to the floor with very limited movement being possible.

Combined elements of my last two homemade vacbed sessions - garbage bags encasing an air mattress.
Using garbage bags with the air mattress was definitely better than my second one with the air mattress and a plastic mattress cover. The seal was much tighter. Garbage bags just have more stretch than the kind of plastic used in mattress covers, which means they fill in every nook and cranny much better.
But I must say, my first one with garbage bags taped to the floor is still my favourite. It felt the most constricting. I think the seal was the tightest on that one, and also the fact that you are pinned to the floor means you are going nowhere. But with an air mattress you can still squirm and even move the air mattress around a bit.
