Tweaked vimeo and soundcloud, added bitchute. Hypnotube disabled embedding, and pornbimbo does not want to load inside iframe. Still something to work on...

Looks like they block iframe embedding from likera.com. It still can be embedded using "the backdoor", but it's awkward. Sent them a message, let's see.

Can we also have links next to embedded videos?
I'm asking because I don't like youtube (and google) to know I visit this site. I try to keep my online "personalities" separate by using private tabs, different browsers, and/or different (virtual) computers. If I block youtube/google on this site, I can't see anything. A link will allow me to open the video in another tab/browser/machine.

This is a good suggestion. I need to revisit the embedding plugin I have aeady seriously changed, so it's not compatible with the original anymore. But it needs to be rewritten completely. I will add it in the next revision.

I merged several related threads. Here's the current #TODO list:

o- Add direct links (above?/below?) the embedded media
o- Add proper youtu.be embedding
o- Add .m4a
o- Rewrite/refactor the existing (and aeady heavily modded) plugin to simplify, and remove the database part.

Please let me know if any sites/file types are missing - I will try to add them, if it's possible and supported.

I have achieved my first success with the new incarnation of the embedding plugin! mp3/mp4/webm, youtube, pornhub embeddings work as they should! And the original URL is visible now - it's a frequently requested feature:
