Suddenly, Twitter embedding is working again. Haven't seen anything related in the news.

xHamster embedding stopped working - I sent a mail to their support team. Let's see what happens.

Updated Twtiter and X embedding. While it now generally works without any intermediate sites (as it was working "before"), for some weird reasons, X shows the following errors for most of the posts:

"Sorry, we can't create an embed for that. It may have been deleted or made private. Please try again."

There were LOTS of questions how to solve that in many forums, but there is no solution 😕 Looks like an X issue (I wonder if they label "risky" posts as "no embedding"?)

In any case, it takes some time for an X/Twitter post to appear. VERY slow. And this is how X works...

Fixed a couple of more issues. E.g. all links ending in x.com were replaced with x.com embeddings, so, dropbox.com links were broken.

I still do not understand, why some X posts are not embeddable.

It can be checked by clicking on "..." at he top right of the X post, then "Embed Post" -> "Embedded Post"

As I wrote above, in most cases, the result is:

"Not found
Sorry, we can't create an embed for that. It may have been deleted or made private. Please try again."

Hypnotube auto-embedding has been disabled, because they changed their policy (embedding is not allowed anymore).
