Yes, I periodically remove accounts with no activity and no posts for 4+ years, SPAM banned accounts, and account which were active for less, than a day. The biggest removal (~7000 accounts) was in 2019.

Since we moved to Cloudflair, the bandwidth jumped to over 2TB per month, because now to view attachments it's not needed to register. So, the attachments are accessible to search engines now.
