Can it be called "self-bondage semi-suspension"? From the description:

I used to do this. Tie myself standing up with an anchor point above, then by laying down everything tightens up. My first attempts where a bit loose but ultimately I wouldn't even make it to the floor, remaining semi-suspended in a hogtie position with only my knees still making contact with the floor. If you use a ratchet to take out all the slack before lowering yourself down you can even make it a full suspension. Starting from a chair and stepping of it would achieve the same but then there's a chair in the way. Of course getting out gets a lot more difficult, I usually made sure to have a rope I could pull to undo a knot at the anchor point and let me fall down, this rope can be made to swing within reach by a timed release mechanism.
