And remember:
- just stay online, to get friends, both you and your peer must be online
- the peer must allow file sharing
- to make the files visible, option "Directory content is visible to friend nodes" (Files -> My files -> Configure shared directories)
- files are accessible indirectly from other peers (use Files -> Search)

This, plus:

- keep approving incoming requests in the Activity tab
- keep adding new peers
- keep removing keys, which had not been used longer than .... (use your common sense here, I would say, at least a year) in Netwprk -> Keyring -> Sort by Last used

Does having keys that have not been used in a long time affect anything?
Also, when sorting keyrings, if I change one that says "denied" by double clicking and accepting the connection, does this "add" them or do I still need to find their certs?
Another thing, does importing the XML files add the certs automatically, or do I need to message the imported friends and add their certs?
I am confused between the difference of a keyring and a friend.

If you happen to end up on Arch Linux and succeed with RS, please give me a hint.

how do i auto accept all restroshare connections without having to do it manually via the hardway, there has to be an easier way

Some error message which I was unable to solve, but don't remember now. I do consider switching over to Linux Mint or CachyOS and might try it again then. Or if I don't switch, I will probably try again in a couple days.
