Speaking logically... What is the risk? What is the difference if someone posted the cert, and you added it, or someone added your cert you posted?
As for the name - I'm not sure how it works. Possibly, the cert info is different? Or you get the name if it's a peer of your existing peer?
The invite you get by RS mail is different - you might get an invite with a cert, you added the cert and send yours back.
Today I finally tried to install retroshare on my machine. I am on ArchLinux though. Unfortunately installing from AUR stops with an error and installing from OBS (which seems to be the preferred method) fails because pacman mentions an inconsistent repository (version mismatch). Oh well... no retroshare for me then unfortunately... unless somebody can suggest anything I could try.
Not sure if RS is working or configured right. Discovery is on, added loads of certs and accepted connections for over 1900 but so far only 5 friends requests?
I tried downloading Retroshare. This is over my head. By chance can someone see if Dark Freya has files on there. By chance could you share them. Thank you.
Moved PCs and managed to migrate everything, but my friends' directories haven't shown up yet after a restart of RS. Tor is green-lit as well.
I need help. I downloaded RS portable version with Tor included.
I try to created a new sert with hidden behid tor, 4096, password and so on, but fail
i tried both tor-gencert.exe tor.exe running while setting up but both fail.
RS Tor status: tor offline 5% connecting to relay
hidden address, onion status...
I saw some tor setting if frist post but where do i put them? Main window doesn't show.
