Should also be very nice for the summer. 

They often go as "ice silk" on Ali, seems to be a new trend as I haven't seen them before I think.
At $2-3 per piece worth checking out.

I have more coming in various shapes and colors.

My experience with these ice silk boxers is the same.  Nice for the summer, they feel soft and smooth and they look good. The price is great too.

How about some inexpensive magnetic locks?

Downside is they don't come with a magnet, and you need to find one of the strong neodynium ones.
But they will snap closed without the magnet.

Now I just need to work out what to fabricate with them.

I have a question for all of you shoppers.
Back in the 2000s, I bought a Black enema bag, latex or rubber, female shaped with boobs. It has sence rotted away after many a years.
Like to find one again, but unfortunately, I have no luck in locating one.

Any ideas????

Speaking of ratchets, I bought 2 x 10 (2 m each) of these to recreate one of ZHUAs videos with my bondage buddy (minus the deepthroat training, he's not into that). I'm hoping I can talk him into wearing ballet boots and maybe some fake breasts under the wetlook zentai bodysuit though.

First 10 from Ali for $16, the second, identical set from Amazon for EUR 13.
Pros: can be cinched super tight easily, but also loosened gradually if too strenuous.
Nice even distribution of pressure. 20 straps plus some leftover webbing used with plastic clasps and buckles should be plenty to turn someone into a tight little roulade.

Cons: If you manage to roll over and put pressure on the lever of the clasping mechanism, you can easily undo the strap and free yourself.
But that can easily be countered by using some webbing stoppers on the loose end of the strap - these little fellows (which have a name as I just found out: Tri-glide slides):
