It's perfect for big video, bit I still prefer to upload pictures (and even small videos) onto this site, because the external links may disappear for various reasons.

That's true, but I remember I saw a post about you telling the site it's not capable to upload videos like we upload videos, so I decided to post the instagram instead, I don't know the size of a video to be perfect to upload, maybe next time I could upload a short video if I found one

When I posted I thought that it was an image, not a video 😉 But yes, short mp4 videos (thing of an animated GIF replacement) can be uploaded here. As far as I remember the maximum size is 30MB.
