We're all faced with a pressing need for discretion, whether it's for family, children or friends.
Here's a tip
A solid gantry as shown in the image.
All you need to make a solid support (even if you're renting one) are 3 slightly oversized beams as shown in the drawing below. Decorated well, they will OFFICIALLY be used to support the hammock / the macramé / the speakers / the giant screen / the little mood lights.
We'll just point out that you haven't skimped on the materials.
Point 1: are solid attachment points, supposedly for the hammock, but you can add more to add X amount of macramé or decorations.
The points 2: are solid attachment points (supposedly) for --> the giant screen that you'll have to unhook to put a sling / make hangings / other ....
Points 3: represent the large screws that need to go through the beams and be screwed into the walls and one into the ceiling (if you're renting and moving one day, dismantle and plug the holes before repainting) If you have a plasterboard ceiling, use plasterboard screws OR don't use plasterboard screws BUT add 2 vertical screws at the very top of the beams.
Tip ++: run your sound and light cables behind the beams BEFORE screwing to enhance your decor and living space when you're on your best behaviour^^^.
DON'T FORGET to lock your toys in a locker at the bottom of your wardrobe. Children sometimes rummage around in your absence....
