BTW, to fully appreciate pantyhose you must shave/epilate your legs.

I've been wondering for quite some time now, how people go about ridding themselves of unwanted body hair.

A while ago, I tried using standard shaving gel and a razor, but came out in little red spots (razor burn?). So after doing some research on the topic, I tried (as suggested), using ladies shaving gel and a cheap disposable.
The results were surprising; there weren't nearly as many little red bumps, but they were still there.
Following some other advice, I decided to then try a Seiko Cleancut shaver.
At first it was extremely disconcerting; having a blade whirring around at some immeasurable rate, less than millimeters from my delicate areas, but when I saw how decent a job it did, I relaxed into it's usage and have stuck with it to this day. ...except for the times when I want to have the pleasure of using a razor & gel πŸ˜‰
However, it feels like I'm stuck using an 80's method of hair removal. Surely there is a better way? How do you guys do it? What products do you use?

EDIT: Forgot to mention that I've tried plucking too. ...Not recommended. It took me 2 days (total of about 8 hours) to pluck every single pubic hair, and it wasn't exactly pain free. The effects did last a bit longer than shaving though. And there were no little red bumps or sharp, itchy stubble when it started to grow back 😊

I have used a number of things. And I do own an Epilator. But for me to my Epilator, I need to drink a few beers. The damm thing hurts and I do get a redding of the aeria I just plucked. But the up side is, My legs stay hair free for a month or longer.

Not, if you do it twice a week. Yes, if you do it twice a year 😁

Well, I am not into pain... unless I am well bound and gaged of course.

OK, twice a week. Cool... I love beer, and that is a good reasion to drink.

A normal shaver usually works fine. A former girl friend actually preferred my shaver over hers, because it worked better - probably, because I changed the blades more regularly than her.

For the thermal effect of the tights, hairs don't matter. But on the other hand, I had shaved my legs a couple of times because of skin irritation, and it felt colder then.

Just a good old fashioned razor and gel works for me. I tried Nair for men once. Good results, terrible smell.

Living full time I have to have clean legs lol. Have an epilator, lower half hardly any pain, but thighs area I find there is. Even after using several times, the pain didn't reduce there lol (generally the more often you use it, the less it will hurt. One drawback about these devices is ingrown hairs... I find they happen very often.

Hair removal creams... never worked well for me at all. And all brands seem to irritate my skin bad.

Waxing... well... home kits suck. Getting it done by a pro is out of my budget lol.

Razors... not a prob. Go for 4 or 5 blade razors. Even with soap, using for instance a Gillette Mach 5 leaves no irritation at all. Avoid Bic razors except for their new 4 blade (forget the name) at all costs. The 4 blade one they make isn't bad, and one razor will give you about 4-6 leg shaves (so long as it isn't LONG hair...)
