Elderly self bondage ideas ??? Maybe ?

Don’t know about the rest of you, but I have found, at least for me, that getting into a good hogtie or other restricted bondage is getting harder and harder. At 71, I’m not a spring chicken any more.

Back in 2000, I did a lot of cross dressing, enemas and bondage. And I enjoyed it very much. And I continued my adventures all the way up till 2016. After that, my joints started to hurt, numbness in the feet and ankles. Can’t bend my legs without getting cramps and all that applies.

It’s 2025 now, Birthday is coming up in November and the only real self bondage I can do is with a chair or bench. 

So, I would like to start a new thread titled elderly bondage.

Stories, ideas, techniques and what to do if something goes south.
I'm currently quite partial to being bound on a spare bed, no mattress, just a duvet on the bed for a "little" comfort.

Then, panties, black tights, bra and padding, leotard, butt plug and a magic wand in a harness fitted so it is resting on the butt plug.
A spreader bar for my ankles, with a ratchet strap under the bed to the top of the bed so it can be fastened the top of a panel gag and when I'm ready, tensioned so I am pretty much fastened in place. A belt with cuffs fastened to it for my wrists, a hood, blindfold and gag in place. gloves to protect my skin from the cuffs and headphones to isolate me fully.

Once everything is set, turn the magic wand on. Tension the ratchet strap so I am stuck there, then I add a couple of straps to my wrists, one set, then use the cuffs on the belt and then the second set to keep me from moving my hands and having set an alarm, and some music, lie back and enjoy an hour or more of self bondage.

As for going wrong, nothing so far, but I am careful to check that I can release my hands when the alarm goes off before setting down to an hour or so of vibration.
I'm not 71 yet but I have done bondage including hogties while suffering from a herniated disc and even now that has been surgically fixed I still have chronic lower back pain. It's very important to know what your body can handle, feeling tied or restricted depends very much on your personal physique. What for one person is an agonizing strict tie can be an easy position for somebody else.

What to do if something goes south? I'd say the same as with every bondage session, make sure you have an emergency release. I'm guilty myself of not having one or having the one I thought I had fail on me so as I get older and more experienced I'm able to get myself into more inescapable positions but I'd like to think my preparation and backup way outs have improved as well.

A spread eagle on a bed should be quite comfy for a while. If you secure your body as well instead of only arms and legs you might get away with a little bit more slack for your arms so you can keep those shoulder and neck muscles from aching.

Indeed, as we get older, we have to anticipate problems.

I RECOMMEND:

For legs or ankles:
Make sure you can tie them so that you can move them a little if you get a cramp in your foot.
Example of a possible game: chains + 2 padlocks to restrict movement. (A bit like convicts).
If you are playing in the countryside, hide the padlock keys in the forest/return to the car park and then attach the chains and padlocks to your ankles.

Idea for the back:
A broomstick (or equivalent) that you cut to fit from your buttocks to your shoulders.
Then add straps or ropes to secure it to your spine. This will prevent you from ‘bending’ or leaning forward.
If you make it long enough, you can also keep your head straight by adding a strap that goes over your eyes.
This can be added to a corset

Idea for wrists and fingers
Wear a long-sleeved T-shirt and gloves, as the tape on the skin can cause allergies.
You can secure the wrists with a stick that goes from the elbow to the index finger, adding tape. This will leave you with only four usable fingers.
Removing the tape if you are wearing latex gloves  will take a long time.  And if you have blocked one elbow or managed to block both, it will become quite a workout.
