So, a vagina plug, inserted that expands just inside with a shield covering the entrance would prevent sex from happening.

Sounds like the same idea as a locking butt-plug.

I recall SteelWerks (in Canada) had a bespoke insertable device that attached to the labia (and locked) via a series of piercings.

Well, I’m pretty sure that there are a lot of women out there are interested in chastity without poking holes in their pussy.

It’s just that I don’t believe that I have ever seen anything like I described.

Out of interest I tried both my new chastity devices under my pink rubber Ola dress as my old CB6000s left a very unsatisfactory bulge.

   

And the result was, there's nothing to choose in visibility, only the lock shows with both styles. I find the flat style very slightly more comfortable though. It might be more about the curved ring than the catheter lengths though.

This one is for @Tinker D, who asked to see more of my successes and failures - this one is currently a 'failure'.....


           

It was the 'double-lock' that appealed to me - part of my fetish is 'over-the-top' bondage/restraints (why use 6ft of rope when you can use 60 or 600!). The idea of locking two parts of a cage in place had a serious appeal and I thought it would make un-authorised removal even more difficult. 

So, I ordered the short version with a 43mm 'ring' size, as 40mm is usually fine and I can manage 38mm with lube and patience. 

The ring went on ok, as did the short cage, but there was no way and I mean NO WAY the 'gate' would close over the 'neck' of my testicles. 

Anyone familiar with how bloodless castration works on livestock will understand how trying to close that last bit of plastic! And I have NO desire to be castrated, no desire at all, no fantasy, nothing! So the damn thing was consigned to the furthest depths of my most difficult to access toy box. 

However, now I've found better images of this cage, I think I know what went wrong - the ring size also governs the gap between the gate (or is that a bar?) and the ring. If you look there is much wider gap with the larger size. It seems obvious now, but at the time the picture showing the rings and gates/bars wasn't online (or I didn't see it).

Next steps? I'm seriously thinking of trying again but with the 52mm sized ring and a medium cage (the small will still fit, so I'll have both).

 I can see how it can work, based on my experience with the standard penis tube on a belt style chastity belt.

To install the so called locking ring, the actual part that goes Behind the head, needs to be way smaller than normal.

Example: if you can slip the head of the penis through the locking ring, then it will fail. How ever if you Can’t fit the the head through the locking ring then this design would work. The trick is to get a locking ring that can’t fit over the penis head unless you use the pantyhose trick used to get the penis into the small tube used on Tollyboy or Access Denide chastity belts.
Once you get that locking ring in place, it would be very tight of course, then the head piece will cover the head and then locked on.

However, there is one problem with this design as I see it. In order to make it 85% escape proof, the head piece will need to push the head back so that the flange ( don’t know what else to call it ) expands out a bit. 
Also, I would suggest that you add a short catheter of the stainless steel to from the tip of the penis to just past the locking ring.

The reason for the catheter is that during erection, your pee hole will be squeezed shut and you won’t be able to pee, and you don’t want that.

So, that’s my take on this device.
