🤣 Depends on your (or your Dom's) goals. I glued the top of the plastic body to the top of my penis - the area, which you would use to pull out. If you put the glue into the lock of a metal chastity cage, most likely you will have to search for professional help.

There are different types of catheters. I do have the long ones (like on the picture), but they are too thick (~8mm) for my small penis (I can use 6mm, max 7mm). The catheter of my currently favourite cage is only 25mm long and 6 mm thick - perfectly enough to make the cage inescapable.
Years ago, I used a real catheter with some of my selfbondage in a chair.
The cat, was inserted all the way in and a balloon was inflated. The cat was then connected to the collection bag in a bucket.
A chastity cage was added and let the fun begin.
Very intense.

Years ago, I used a real cathader with some of my selfbondage in a chair.

Looks like the ubiquitous cheap entry level chastity cage that you usually find on Ali has received a design overhaul (or maybe the new supplier didn't bother to update their product shots yet).
I previously bought one of the "standard" sized ones (pink) and it was basically impossible to slip into it, as it was too tight.
No amount of lube and gentle tugging could get me in there.
Then I bought a "nub" version, where I could fit the glans into the device. Nice, snug fit. It was only available in black at the time.
But I always wanted a pink one as well, so I ordered another "nub" and from the product page and the product images, it was advertised as the same model as the other ones:
What I got today looks like a redesign that is way more accomodating. The overall feel is of a way better quality than the old model.
The ring, connectors and locking mechanism is basically the same as before, and everything also has a more smooth finish compared to the barebone plastic of the old revisions.
Unfortunately, when I revisited the product page just now, it shows as no longer available in my region, but maybe it still works for you.

There's an account on instagram run by a store selling chastity gear, that has videos presenting different products from their offer.
Nothing special, but videos are of good quality and sometimes you can see better than on static photos.

The product page became available again for me, so I bought another two different sizes in the hopes the new design wasn't just a fluke.Â
The product images still haven't been updated to reflect the significantly wider size of the cages.
And lo and behold, they both were in the new design.
I have thrown out my old ones (see my previous post) since they would never have fit me, so I can't give you a direct visual 1:1 comparison of the same size model old vs new, but these are the three new sizes (small, nub, nano) side by side.
I also noticed that the two prongs on the side of the hinge mechanism fit more easily into their sockets in the ring part, making it less fiddly to connect the two parts (which usually involves a lot of pinching of excess skin).
Unless they contain some harmful chemicals that will eventually make your dick fall off, this seems like a recommendable purchase for < 6USD.

You don't need to tell me about the pinching!Â
I have found a fix, of sorts. is to use a piece of soft plastic (I've cut a piece off a soft folder used for A4 sized reports), which I slide between the ring and my tender bits, aligned to the sockets. This allows me to fit the prongs into the ring sockets without pinching any skin, then I simply pull the plastic out and voila!Â
You do need a bit of practice and some moisturiser (or lube) to help the plastic slide out after use.
