1 try : ripped apart.
Good thing : took the pieces and used them to to make my own in real leather.

Fake leather bolero style armbinders from China. I do manage the get in but the zippers can't take much and become unusable after a few uses.

I do not trust zips (under tension) either. I prefer laces.

The faux-leather boleros are not exactly heavy-duty items, true! However, they are very affordable and they do work. If you are too strong, you need leather of course.
