I have one. Not flimsy but the clear plastic part can break if dropped (happened to mine). Bought a smaller replacement white plastic bottom, seems to be made from different plastic. 

Cannot easily pry open without damaging, and at the price that makes it a deterrent to do so lol.

I use it mainly for locking up my chastity key since my D/s relationship ended.

I've also used it with self bondage, in not too restrictive scenes (ie hands are locked in a manner I can manipulate the lid off when done)

It depends on what's connected to it, and if the connected devices should be on or off. Usually the WiFi net is always on if there is power. If your release depend on the net, then it would be good to have a backup. Ice-lock! 😉
