RE: Realise Swimsuits - long-term review - Strappado - 26 Apr 2013 Getting back to the original subject: The tightness of the suit keeps it fairly safe, I don't wear it often. But I checked the seams: no traces of deterioration. Also the surface hasn't changed a bit, this suit still looks brand new. I consider wearing it on a bike tour when it is a little warmer, bike pants underneath. We are going to have a triathlon here in a few months, and people are getting used to seeing bikers in weird dresses now, so I have a good excuse 😁 Ok, a short tour first, I have to check if my crotch can survive this suit on a bike... Mmm... I would wear pantyhose underneath and short bike pants on top. Sorry, didn't do it, I could not find a keyring for closing the back zipper. But, I put it on later, and I think, there is no trouble in the crotch area. PS. I have seen prices like 400 $ for the suit with full back side. Of course, there is no evidence, that anyone ever paid that much... RE: Realise Swimsuits - long-term review - Like Ra - 10 Oct 2013 There are two Realise swimsuits on eBay right now (auctions): one in blue another one in silver. http://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread-Lycra-on-eBay-interesting-finds?pid=10934#pid10934 http://www.likera.com/forum/mybb/Thread-Lycra-on-eBay-interesting-finds?pid=10935#pid10935 They might be too small for some, however I managed to squeeze into German size 34 (Speedo Hydrasuit), while my normal Hydrasuit size is around 42-44. OTOH, I take it that Realise swimsuits are not that elastic? |
