There is something weird going on. Since some days, some pages freezes my iPad browser completely. I believe it’s due to the Twitter video integration, but I’m not sure since I can’t scroll the pages…

Here is a list of affected ones :

WOW! Yes, you are right - in Safari those pages freeze. After some time, the following error message is shown:

"A problem repeatedly occurred on ..."

In Firefox - no problems. There are no embeddings on those pages. I'm really puzzled...

Looks like typical problems with Safari 15.4.1-15.5 - it's buggy and does not support web standards. For example:

Actually, there are. From various platforms, including .mp4 files.

BUT! I removed the embedding, and the problem is still there. And the iPhone became way too hot.

Bottom line: use Firefox (at least until the bug is fixed). Or (even better) do not use Apple at all 😂

Except they do not show with Firefox on my iPad either…. But I think Firefox use web view and so, probably inherit this bug…. Damn, I’ll wait to,be back on my laptop then…

Aha... Works fine on Firefox v102 and Chrome v103 (iPhone 12 Pro, iOs 15.5), but breaks on Firefox 99.3 and Chrome v101 (15.4.1, iPhone 7).

Upgrading to 15.5 helped.

Ok, I’m indeed running 15.4…. Should update then. I’ll let you know.
