Hmmm, I wonder…..anyone on the forum have experience of sewing Lycra? The more I think about this the more ideas I have for making it work – possibly a forum subject in its own right?

Everything you will need can be found on eBay

This is the body suit I used:

Once you start looking on eBay there are many others including this:

Pantyhose clothes - if you want something more 'custom made' 😁

My tights are actually XL maternity tights that I brought from a local discount shop (total cost was £2 for 6 pairs!) but they are no longer stocked.

A quick search on eBay will find you lots - my tip is to start off with something cheap (Bulk/job lots can be interesting) as you will need to find what works best for you. I'm currently looking for something in a 40-60denier style to experiment with.

I'm over 1.8m tall (more than 6ft) and not 'stick thin' 😉

Hiya, new here but looking to get involved. Have been trying to find large tights for encasement for a while but can never get the sizing right. Either the legs are too narrow but the waist/gusset is grand or the legs have plenty of give but the waist is too tight. Could you point me in the direction of these discontinued tights or give any alternatives? I'm in the UK too so shops should be the same.
