Well it since it was commissioned there's a great chance master is defined elsewhere.
As for 8.5 file, except for messed up level, I think it's intentionally messy and it's designed to blur the line between old self and Bambi so triggers will be set for both.
And secret files script... I got it from b4e, I didn't transcribe it by hand, so I won't share it.

Anyway, 8.5 sounds very awkward between 8 & 9, I think a separate list is needed for the noisy files. E.g. 8.5, Secret, and even Ziplock.
