I need something like that for 24" monitor. Horizontal arm must be at least 60 cm long.
So far, i haven't find that anything that long.

Apparently I'm still behind the progress. Just got a promotion add in my mail (they promise $2 off is used DIKYY71JQTYD code, not sure if it works) about an HDMI 2.1 cable with replaceable adapters and fibre optics inside. Rather expensive, but technology-wise looks cool!

How heavy is your monitor (excluding the stand)?

Here's one for you: https://s.click.aliexpress.com/e/_A8lQiJ

65cm, up to 12kg load.

Actually... I might buy two of these... or these (55cm):

In fact I occassionally use something like this for a certain reason, the length of the cable is 100m. The normal HDMI specification is secure for 10m, however sometimes you can find and use cables up to 20m, without a repeater. But this doesn't come in handy for higher distances.
This technology works very well.

The monitor arms have arrived! Took a week. Haven't assembled them yet, but they are heavy!

Never thought about such thing, but Ali sent me a recommendation with a photo (anime girls in latex šŸ˜‹) I could not miss, so I clicked. It turned out to be an external monitor of an unusual ratio: various sizes, resolutions, with or without touch screen, etc. The idea is to place it underneath your main monitor (horizontally), or to the side of the main monitor (vertically, e.g for chats, mails), or connect it to a Pi-like microcomputer. Can be useful for gamers, or to display system load. Or as a picture frame. I have lots of ideas. So... thinking....

The monitor arms have arrived! Took a week. Haven't assembled them yet, but they are heavy!

The first one went to my wife's monitor. Ordered two more! šŸ˜†

The second batch arrived!!! In three days!!! Aeady installed for my two monitors and ... it's fantastic!!! I have so much free desk space now, and I can "shuffle" the monitors around!

I have one spare arm for the 3d monitor. Another option is to replace two screens with a superwide one. Odyssey G9 looks cool, but only 1440 and VN.

The arms are more than recommended!

Just in case, all my monitors are around 5kg. The arms should support up to 12kg.

Anyway, back to work....

New idea is to buy a 2k or 4k monitor (USB-C and HDMI connectors), that can also be taken to a journey, for example, as a second monitor to work from another location:

Is this for personal use or monitoring remote systems for work?

I work from home, so it's for both personal and business use. I'm going to use it as a 4th monitor for static apps like CPU temp/log monitoring, smilies table, CPU frequency chooser, Audacity player, etc.

And if I have to work while travelling, it will be used as a 2nd monitor, connected to a 15.6" laptop.
