I never shared the surprisingly popular opinion, that legs in shiny tights look like raw sausages, unless "they" mean "delicious", of course 😋😝

Shiny Gatta 'wet-look' tights (proper tights, with feet, not leggings)

No, I use soft braided nylon rope and it doesn't cause any damage to tights or Lycra/spandex.
