Got a replacement - it's working fine, but I lost 19 euros for sending the SSD back. Still much cheaper.

Hmmm... 1TB NVME SSD for ~70 euro (with all discounts and coupons combined). Tempting...

In some other threads I mentioned my disappointment in Raspberries. Here's an alternative. Yes, it costs more. ā‚¬ 203,31 for theĀ  next 2 days. Only 8 boxes left. Went there after reading two Dutch reviews.

It looks like a nice little computer. But it is not something you should compare with the raspberries. The raspberry is of course not for heavy computing, it is for controlling outside objects. For this it has many pins allowing you to control lights, digital displays, relays etc. For not much money you can get a little borad with 8 relays and write yourself a symphony for 8 vacuum cleaners. Or an enormous lightshow.Ā Just to name something. This is not what I saw in the computer you mention.
But if you are looking for a nice little windows computer that is very quiet, the one you foundĀ looks like a good buy indeed.

Very true, that's the reason why I questioned the actual practicality of "Pis" šŸ˜ . @krinlyc used it for RS and complained about, and for such tasks the MeLE above is a perfect candidate. I would immediately replace Windows with Linux, though. A perfect box for tor, proxy, firewall, torrent, RS, whatever. I still prefer a big NAS for that, but you do not always need huge disk repository, and even if you do, you can connect it via USB or network.
