Honestly I might have tried to but bondage gear is expensive and purging that money and effort hurts way more. Since I don't have any big items most of my stuff just goes into a bag and into a corner if I don't want to use them. Suits me just fine, I can see though why someone with like outright furniture or huge pieces might consider purging just to cover it up.
Here's my last one.

Last orgasm (HFO!) Nov 04, 2022
Full moon Nov 08, 2022
Last kinky activity (Bambi) Nov 13, 2022

The deepest deep was around Christmas (winter solstice and new moon - virtually the darkest time of the year)

I think, the new UP period is beginning (mmm.. probably, since a couple of days ago, around Jan 17). At least, feminization and hypno thoughts are back.
If you are subscribed to @AndyLatex' Patreon, you might have seen his recent masterpiece, which can be posted in many threads here, beginning with the EOTD one, and ending with the transparent latex one (if you are not subscribed, though, you should, otherwise you will have to wait until it's made public), but what I find the most intriguing is the following:

It is so nice to be back creating again.

It is funny how the head works (well not that funny, it's quite scary in fact) But after feeling so down for some time, my head suddenly filled with ideas and fantasies, but more importantly the concentration needed to sit for hours and create them returned.

That's what I meant in the post above exactly! And Andy's "timing" correlates with mine!
Yes, "suddenly", I have got helluva ideas, and no idea where and how to start šŸ¤£

Call it "the purge syndrome", call it "the refractory period", call it "the pervy yo-yo cycle" - it's about up and down periods in your kinky, fetish, sexual activity. From time to time we lose interest in fetish/bondage stuff. Almost to the point of guilt for wasted money and throwing the useless stuff away. You stop visiting fetish forums and searching for arousing images. Then the interest returns with a vengeance. Then disappears. And this vicious circle repeats for ages.

Did you notice how many weeks/months it takes for the interest to return/disappear?
Did you notice if it's related to anything? (vacation, workload, phase of the moon, exciting post, a girl on the street, whatever)
Did you notice how long your willingness to play last?

I'm not talking about masturbation now, because it's the ultimate interest-killer-guilt-inducer (one of the reasons why I try to avoid orgasms).

Basically, that's why I started to keep track of my orgasms (see the "orgasm calendar") and document my experience with erotic hypnosis.

Any thoughts? Ideas? Statistics?

The cycle can be broken by the person at any time

Oftentimes, not without therapy.
