Today I'm still in a red and black mood - strange really, considering my passion for Tan....



Wet-look Gatta tights, tartan mini-skirt (rescued from recycling), red corset (bugger to get the 'hooks' to line up!) and my old favourite ankle boots.

What you can't see is a nice plug and a tight cage  😁

I have asked my wife once to meet me at the airport when I was coming back from a very long trip wearing corset and stuff. (English is not very precise. She was wearing that corset to the airport, not me on my trip.)
Anyway She put it on upside-down and told me that she was trying to even wear it frontside-back (luckily not inside-out, as that would really be a challenge).

Well I'm glad we sorted that one out! I'm pretty certain that the steel stays in a corset would have set off the metal detectors if you'd have been wearing it and then tried to board the flight!

I am pretty certain too, but my wife had a corset on a flight once 15+ years ago as we were flying from Rome and she was just patted to check what it was.
Maybe it was because it was in Italy and they are not very strict on the airports - one year ago I forgot to check in my Victorinox in Naples and I realized that only when we have been flying over Alps and I found it in my fanny pack. That was a good lesson for my son, who was sitting next to me, that the world is not always perfect.

Anyway, my ultimate goal is "flying pretty" and this includes wearing a corset, so I hope to find out one day.

Today I've gone for a 'mature but still got it' look - imagining all those ladies of middle years tat I've met, who've looked after themselves and although dressing conservatively always bring a smile to my face.

                   

Layers again, with Aristoc Slimline over the Oil shiny Tan pair I've worn previously. The Aristoc tights must be years old now, I'm impressed they've lasted so long!

No video of me walking today - I'm both out of practice, nursing a knee injury and those are 5" (12cm) heels - which are challenging at the best of times!

And I'm caged and plugged - why wouldn't I be?  😋

Very office style!
I can't walk in 5" heels, but 4.5" is OK (at least it was...) - half an inch makes a difference! But my high-heel size is 39 (usual size - 40).

Do you know that heel heights given by manufacturer are "nominal" for sizes around 37? I have learned just recently that heel grows with shoe size, so that proportion stays the same.

Yes, heel grows with the size, but not at the correct speed, usually the proportions are off. So, the sole angle for size 35 is bigger, than sole angle for size 45. My daughter and I have the same Pleaser Domina shoes, so I could compare 😉 Will send photos later.
