What are the obvious differences between men and women?
How do you determine if it's a man or a woman?

It's not the clothes, because if a woman is wearing men's clothing (quite usual and "appropriate") or a man is wearing women's clothing (quite unusual and generally "inappropriate"), you would correctly guess their sex in at least 80%.

So, the question is - HOW?

What would be the obvious "markers"?
It's neither ovaries, nor XX/XY chromosomes.
It's neither short nor long hair.
It's neither jewellery, nor accessories.
It's neither makeup, nor painted nails.

"Valid" differences?

Proportions
Posture (including the "carrying angle")
Mannerism

When those questions are answered, the next ones will be - what a man can/should change, to look more like a woman?

I know I’m missing something, but I think it’s the movement one makes that allows you to recognize if it’s a man ow woman.

A woman walks with a sway in her hips. Also, if you look closely, her hips rocks like as if her waist is on a swivel.

Also, a male does not. His stride and sitting is a lot wider. Probably it’s the fact he’s has a third leg while a female does not.

And, if you want to get into fashion, a female hip and the male’s hip are so different, if you do wear a skirt, like I do, you be caught for sure.

That's more related to proportions - wider hips, different hip angle.

I don't think this is the reason. With wider hips and more freedom in the joints, it would be easier and more natural for women to sit (and walk) with legs apart. Just like how pregnant women sit.

It is not just one of those things you mentioned. It is the perceived combination of those characteristics that make the difference between a man and a woman and the gender of the person with is best described as the subconscious sex of the person in question.

Just look at the face of a person. Every person has masculine and feminine features. Brooke Shields has masculine eye brows for example, but the majority of her facial feature appear female and most everyone registers her face as that of a woman. Now this same determination can be expanded to other attributes of a person.

However, if you look at the way a woman walks, her legs are pretty much together. But when a man walks, his legs are apart.
But doesn’t a female walk with one foot is ahead of another, and a male's walk has his feet side by side??

It is like asking "What is a chair?"

It is not just one of these things:

• Has fours legs (so do tables)
  
• You sit on it (you can also sit on a table)
  
• It has a back (not all chairs have backs)
  
• etc..
  

Again it is a list of attributes based in looks and is a construct. A chair is a chair because we've (as a society) decided that's what a particular configuration of matter is used for. A chair is defined as a chair by being used as a chair, otherwise it's just taking someone's word for it.

As a construct we as a society have perceive individuals as men or women as someone who display a certain set of criteria based of visual and auditory indicators of masculine and feminine characteristics. Someone's gender is their internal perception of what they are and sometimes they do not match (i.e. Transgender individuals) and with medical transition their bodies can be changed to match the outside perceived gender with the persons internal gender.

The list itself is going to be different person to person but typical it is looks, mannerism and voice. As a woman with a transexual history, it has been over 9+ years since I have been misgendered by anyone who did not know me since I transition 10+ years ago. I can say that mannerisms and voice are more important that just looks to be perceived as female. Because of an intersex condition, my walk has always been feminine as my hips are feminine shaped even before HRT. I did work on my voice, but most everything came very naturally for me. Prior to transitioning I was perceived as a feminine male and even gay (well they were sort of right with me being a lesbian.)

So yeah it is a "Wibbly wobbly, timey wimey" type of definition.

Even while walking you can keep the knees at the minimal distance from each other.

The question is - why do women usually keep knees together? Is it about the angles between the bones? The, so called, Q-angle?

Q-angle: the angle between the quadriceps (thigh) tendon and the patella tendon.

- the average Q-angle for men is approximately 14 degrees; whereas for women it is approximately 17 degrees.
The wider pelvis and increased Q-angle in females is linked to the higher number of knee injuries, in particular ACL injuries, in women due to the decreased knee stability and decreased shock absorption properties in the knee.
