I recoded (with -movflags +faststart) and reuploaded the video - the extension was wrong (it was not an mp4 file), hence it did not work.

mmm ok... I didnt do anything other than download it and saw that size wise is was "small ish"

What I mean is that's it's not an MP4, but MPEG-TS file. That's why it was not playing from the forum (also ffmpeg showed many broken frames):
