I think in all of these the true bondage element (rendering someone helpless) is secondary to the beauty of the rope-work itself.

Wow! If only I was flexible enough to try some of these!

I can only assume that (as with most bondage images) the models only had their arms bound like this for a very short period of time - otherwise wouldn't it become very uncomfortable?
